The reason why is that I searched for information about car stereos and I’m now a male searching for aftermarket electronic automotive add-ons. I’m a demographic.

Also, when I look at jalopnik on my phone the Amazon ads are for car tow points as that’s what I’ve searched for lately. Golf clap.

I understand my browsing history will soon be for sale. I’m pretty sure whoever buys it overpaid, as it’s all clearly part of the machine already. What else can you add? It’s as obnoxious as it gets.

The way to trick your ISP is simple: load 50 tabs of this video. Your browser history will become worthless very quickly.

I feel unique because I regularly get Yamaha/Suzuki ads.

Correction: Your history has always been for sale. The regulations Congress is rejecting *would* have stopped that (they’d have to ask permission).

So it’s the same it’s always been. Still bad, though. Hopefully the states address it.

I regularly get ads for old Jags and Triumphs so I’m happy.

Still don’t quite get the logic though. If I’ve just this second bought a Jag XJ40, why would I immediately buy another? It’s more like 6 months or so before I end up doubling up ;)
